Welcome to Year 4 Vegara!
Year 4 is an exciting stage in our children’s learning journey. We encourage children to become confident and independent learners who enjoy asking questions, exploring new ideas and taking on new challenges.
Our curriculum provides children with opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills across a wide range of subjects. We explore fascinating topics such as the Vikings and states of matter, while developing our understanding of the world through science, history, geography and RE. We also enjoy opportunities to express our creativity through art, computing, music and other practical learning experiences.
At the heart of Year 4 is our classroom community. We value every child and celebrate the different experiences and cultures that make our class special. Children are encouraged to respect others, share their ideas and take responsibility for their learning.
We want every child to feel proud of what they achieve in Year 4 and to discover that learning can open the door to extraordinary possibilities.
