At Stanton Cross Primary School, every child is valued, accepted and supported to thrive. We believe that positive behaviour creates the foundations for successful learning. Every child has the right to learn in a calm, purposeful environment where they feel safe, confident and able to flourish. By fostering positive relationships and nurturing self-esteem, we help children develop the confidence, independence and resilience they need to succeed.
All adults in our school community have an important role to play in modelling positive behaviour, demonstrating our values and building strong, respectful relationships. Through a consistent approach, clear communication and positive interactions, we create an environment in which children understand expectations and feel supported to make the right choices.
Our aim is to empower every child to take responsibility for their actions, develop self-regulation and understand how their behaviour affects themselves and others. By working together, we ensure that positive behaviour is recognised, encouraged and embedded in every aspect of school life.
Our School Values

Our school rules
At Stanton Cross Primary School, we believe that clear, consistent expectations help everyone feel safe, respected and ready to learn. Our three simple school rules apply to every member of our community:

These rules provide a shared language for understanding and celebrating positive behaviour. They underpin our conversations, guide our responses and are consistently reinforced by all staff.

Our curriculum is carefully designed to ensure that every child develops secure foundations in reading, writing and mathematics, alongside a deep, rich and broad body of knowledge across all curriculum subjects. We want our children to be curious, knowledgeable and enthusiastic learners who develop a lifelong love of learning and the confidence to explore new ideas.
Through our rich and carefully sequenced curriculum, combined with high expectations and inclusive teaching, we provide meaningful opportunities for every child to achieve, flourish and reach their full potential.
