Welcome to the Stanton Cross Primary School website, which has been designed to provide you with some useful information about our school and as a vehicle to share with you what goes on in our school.
Stanton Cross is a growing development on the edge of Wellingborough. Our new school is at the heart of the development, whilst our children are at the heart of everything we do! The school is growing towards becoming a two-form entry school, eventually educating 420 children. As we grow, we will be opening one additional year group at a time. For the 2024/25 academic year, we have children from Reception through to Year 2.
We enjoy being a very inclusive & diverse school, with a third of our children speaking more than one language, making our school a vibrant place to be. We recognise that our cultural diversity creates our school community, seeing it as a strength, celebrated at every opportunity. We enjoy involving families in all aspects of school life and are proud to work alongsided our community.
I am exceptionally proud to be the Head Teacher here at Stanton Cross Primary School and work alongside the dedicated staff team and the wider Trust, the Northampton Primary Academy Trust (NPAT). We share one end goal: to “Achieve Extraordinary Things.” This reflects our conviction that raising expectations for our entire community is at the heart of a successful and inclusive society.
At Stanton Cross, we provide all pupils with a stimulating and inclusive educational environment in which everyone feels safe, respected and supported to grow and develop to their full potential and able to prepare for the next stage of their learning journey. We are committed to raising attainment, improving outcomes for ALL pupils by providing them with a range of high quality learning experiences through an inspiring, broad and engaging curriculum. We share a driving vision with our Trust of innovation, high aspiration and achievement and a commitment to sport and the arts. Our children love coming to school, and are active learners who are curious, enjoy and achieve in all aspects of their learning.
Should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be delighted to welcome you to the School to share our vision and values, our culture and climate for learning and the aspirations we have for our community of learners.
We hope to see you soon!
Mrs Melissa Albert
